Logistics + tips of how to get to Comme N Kids in Azabudai Hills, Tokyo
- See Google Maps location here
- The mall is multiple buildings and kind of a maze- route to Hermes and go down the escalator next to it. Click here for a video walkthrough of the route
- Each pastry is 250 yen and they only allow 1 family of kids at a time
- We got the 12:35 PM slot on the sign up sheet when we arrived 17 minutes after they opened at 10 AM, so I highly recommend you get there ~15 minutes before opening
- (For their regular, non-kid shop): Their pastries are very good but the line is long and signs only in Japanese, so get your google translate ready!
Kids only bakery experience in Tokyo
Today we went to a super unique bakery in central Tokyo, where only kids are allowed inside a small bakery to buy their own pastries.
When it got to my preschooler's timeslot, we gave him 1000 yen to choose up to 4 pastries and he was led inside by the super sweet staff.
We waited eagerly outside to see what he’d buy....
and a few minutes later, he ran out with his bread bags looking so. freaking. Proud.
Then we found some seats in the mall’s atrium to enjoy his morning bounty. Great shot of our boba kids jogger set he's wearing.
This was the perfect finale for our last full day in Tokyo after 5 weeks and such a special experience, I think I’m going to have to frame the receipt or something!
