Bring a change of clothes for water play. Food isn’t close so pack snacks. We went on a rainy weekend expecting it to be packed but it was super empty! Setagaya Park: Best Full Day Park with Kids in Tokyo

A train ride, gorgeous flowers and shrubbery, hedge maze, (manual) go karts with traffic lights, “outdoors” play area with fire pits, wood saws, nails and hammers, mud play— and a direct bus from Shibuya station brings you right outside the park. Sakurazaka Park: Best place to view cherry blossoms with a playground for kids
