Loft Ginza A lifestyle paradise where you’ll find everything from unique Japanese stationery to skincare and home decor. It’s the kind of place where you go in for a pen and leave with a bag full of things you didn't know you needed.
Hands Ginza (Formerly Tokyu Hands) This is the ultimate "everything" store for DIY lovers and hobbyists. Each floor is a deep dive into categories like travel gear, kitchen tools, and craft supplies. My viral reel about a cabbage peeler can be purchased here.
Itoya A stunning, multi-story stationery shop that has been around for over 100 years. Don't miss the floor dedicated entirely to paper—it’s like an art gallery for stationery nerds.
MUJI Ginza Flagship This is MUJI’s global flagship, complete with a diner, a bakery, and even a hotel. It’s a minimalist's dream and a great spot to stock up on their famous snacks and travel essentials.
Ginza Innit A cool, modern lifestyle space that feels like a curated gallery of Japanese design and fashion. It’s a great spot to find unique pieces that you won't see in the bigger department stores.
Onitsuka Tiger The place to go for classic, stylish Japanese sneakers that are actually comfortable for walking all day. The Ginza store often carries limited editions and premium "Nippon Made" lines.
Tsutaya Books Located inside the Ginza Six mall, this is one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world. It’s focused on art and design, and the massive wooden bookshelves make for a perfect photo op.
Uniqlo (Ginza Marche) Skip the 12-story flagship on the main street and head to this location instead. It’s much less crowded, meaning you can actually browse and use the fitting rooms without the massive lines.
Food & Drink
Pain Maison Ginza The birthplace of the shio pan (salt bread) craze, where you can get warm, buttery rolls with a perfectly crispy bottom for about $1 each. There is often a line, but it moves fast.
Yakiniku Inoue Incredible high-end BBQ where the meat practically melts in your mouth. It’s a bit of a splurge, but the quality of the wagyu is great.
Ginza Kimuraya The oldest bakery in Japan and the birthplace of anpan (sweet bean buns). We love that 90% of the conversations here are in Japanese—it’s a true local favorite that has stood the test of time.
Tempura Abe Honten Located in a basement, this spot serves incredible tempura at a very reasonable price. It feels like a hidden sanctuary away from the busy Ginza streets.
Pudding Lab A tiny paradise for dessert lovers specializing in artisanal Japanese custard puddings. They have a variety of flavors and textures, ranging from super firm to incredibly creamy.
Ginza Torishige A legendary yakitori spot where they grill every part of the chicken to perfection. It’s cozy & smoky.
Aburagumi Sohonten Ginza My FAVORITE spot for abura soba (soupless ramen). You mix the noodles with vinegar and chili oil yourself—it’s savory & chewy. Note the Ginza lines are always long and you can find this chain in other parts of Tokyo.
Sushi no Midori Famous for high-quality sushi at "conveyor belt" prices, though it’s a sit-down spot. Be prepared to pull a ticket and wait.
Sushi Ya A more intimate, high-end sushi experience if you’re looking to treat yourself. The craftsmanship here is top-tier.
Sato Yosuke Inaniwa Udon Known for their thin, silky Inaniwa-style udon noodles served cold or hot. It’s a refreshing change of pace from the usual thicker udon.
Ginza Kagari Soba Famous for their rich, creamy chicken paitan ramen that looks almost like a bowl of corn chowder. There is almost always a line, but it moves quickly and the broth is soo good.
Ginza Sand A premium sandwich shop known for their decadent katsu sando (cutlet sandwiches). These are perfect for a quick, high-quality lunch on the go.

Don Quijote Ginza The ultimate "everything" store - get lost in the aisles of toys, snacks, souvenirs, and weird gadgets. It’s a sensory overload and everywhere in Tokyo.
Hakuhinkan Toy Park A massive multi-story toy store that is very hands-on, including a huge slot-car racing track and train sets. We managed to snag 10 different Disney 100-piece puzzles here for just $7—an absolute steal!
